Windows Phone Hands-On series kicked off at Jyväskylä

Just before Geeks on Wheels gets rolling, Jyväskylä Student Tech Club (JySTeC) is arranging a few Hands-On training sessions for Windows Phone 7.

The first one in the series took place a few days ago on Thursday the 11th. Around a dozen attendees with exceptionally diverse backgrounds and skills dived into Visual Studio and Expression Blend for good couple of hours (and then some). The purpose of these sessions being inspiring students to start implementing their ideas and visions, we indeed saw many a births of new mobile apps. We’re eagerly looking forward to go back on Friday the 18th for Part Deux to see what the young padawans have been cooking during the week.

Tsuri is a bachelor student of Media Engineering. While not toying around with bleeding edge tools in web development and gulping down copious amounts of energy drinks, he indulges in occasional trips to snowy forests with a board under his feet.
